Historical Sailing Weekend

A wonderful weekend or a day of sailing on board of a tjalk, a Dutch sailing barge. In the afternoon we would drop anchor to have some lunch or we port Edam, Volendam, Hoorn, Marken or Pampus (a small island of historical interest) where you can have an excursion or roam around or get a photo of yourself in traditional Dutch costumes. In an hour we let the hawsers go and head for our final destination…enjoying an appetizing snack and a good drink.

Spending more time with your family.
Some things kids want to do rather with their dad. To have an adventure, play around on a beach, make a bonfire.

Sail handling, both on deck and alof, steering the vessel, keeping lookout, drying out at the wonderful sandbeach and bewondering the seabed nature. This is not a cruise ship but sailing this traditional barge is a unique experience and can be a great adventure. The more you put in, the more you will get out of your time aboard and we are sure you will enjoy every minute.

For a weekendtrip for 10 till 20 people without food and drinks you pay 1985 euro.
